Who are some of your biggest musical influences?
I listen a lot to all kind of musics, I'm a big fan of Marilyn Manson, but for my own music the biggest influences are from singers of 50's and 60's, as Marilyn Monroe, Franck Sinatra, Nancy Sinatra, the Archies, etc...
Do you prefer to write your lyrics in french or english?
I like both! At the beginning, when I was 16 years old, I wrote only in french, and years after years, I really fell in love with english language...I think english is better for the kind of music I do :)
Did you enjoy making your music video for "Sugar Sugar"?
Oh my God yes! It was so cool! I did everything on this video, I did all by myself, it was lot of work but really good moments! That's because I just love the song Sugar Sugar more than all others songs!
Your tattoos are incredible! How many do you have?
Oh thanx! Well to be honest I even don't know how many tattoos I have on my skin! The only thing I know is that there's not enough tattoos!
At the beginning of the year we will begin a big tattoo on all my back, I can't wait!
How did you come up with the name "So Ladycat"?
Well, the beginnig is my cat...I love him more than everything! So I thought about Catwoman and I said to myself "I must find something like that!" so Ladycat was an evidence.
And as my name is Sophie, I used So...It could mean Sophie Ladycat but also that I'm So a ladycat!
Besides music what are a few of your other hobbies?
I'm a model so it takes a big part of my time. I also read a lot, I love it! But all my life turns around artistic things.
Are you planning on doing a U.S tour?
It would be an honnor! One of my biggest dream! I love U.S of 50's, pin up, old cars, milk shake and hamburgers! ;)
So as soon as I could do a tour in U.S, I will do it for sure!
Where can people go about buying your music?
The cd isn't ready yet, we are working on the songs, we want to make an album with 11 songs, so it will be probably ready around april or may 2008.
People colud ee the news on my myspace :)
Do you have any advice that you'd like to share with aspiring female models & musicians?
I'm so young and I have so many things to learn again that I can't really give any advice, but the most important thing is to believe in one-self. Just listen to the critics and continue to do things better and better!
Last question, are you going to tell all your friends about
thegraveyardgirls.com?
Of course yes!!! I will write update my websites about it!
